Privacy and record visibility
Privacy Policy
Effective July 23, 2026Information collected
PSG Database may collect account names, email addresses, organization details, login and session information, breeder and ownership relationships, record submissions, uploaded photographs, correction requests, and administrative audit history.
Public and protected record information
Sugar glider records may be public, available to registered users, restricted, or hidden. A direct link or certificate QR code does not bypass these settings. Private or unregistered owners may be described without publishing personal contact information.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, connect pedigrees, preserve provenance, manage ownership, review submissions, calculate pedigree measurements, investigate errors, secure the service, and communicate about database activity.
Photos
Approved photos may appear on glider profiles and certificates. Photo provenance, including uploader, organization, role, upload date, and ownership period, may be retained to protect the historical record.
Audit and security information
Administrative actions, corrections, transfers, approvals, and account activity may be logged to protect database integrity and investigate misuse.
Sharing and disclosure
PSG Database does not publish protected account information merely because a pedigree record exists. Information may be disclosed when required by law, necessary to protect the service, or needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security threat.
Corrections and questions
Users may submit record-correction requests through the available reporting tools. Privacy questions may be directed to the PSG Database administrator through the site’s official contact channel.
